Blender statistics

Blender is a free and open source 3D creation suite. It is used by several big CG creation companies that use it to create CG in movies and computer games.

A while back, Blender releases a benchmark program to be used to see how your computer does with rendering 3D. According to their website, Linux computers make up 75% of computers using Blender and Windows only made up 23% with MacOS only a few percentage points.

I have been using Blender for about six months or so, and it is a very powerful program to create things. I am currently creating a city street scene, and I love it. I only use the Linux version on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I do not have a Windows computer. So I can not try Blender on Windows. Unfortunately I only have a RX 570 and Blender does not support AMD graphics cards yet. Maybe in the future I hope so. blender offers alot of stuff for 3D creation. If you are into this kind of stuff, then give Blender a try.
